Please see below this week's notices from the College. May we take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful summer break and we look forward to welcoming many of you back in September!
Click here for full guidance on GCSE and A Level/BTEC results collection. As highlighted, we strongly encourage pupils to come into College to collect their results as staff will be on hand to discuss a range of options. Refreshments will be available in the Great Hall on both results days.

We are continuing to offer LAMDA classes next year but due to demand we are expanding the timetable. Saturday mornings as well as Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 4.45pm – 5.45pm are now available. They are open to students across all the year groups who are interested in pushing themselves in performance. LAMDA is a well-established grades-based qualification (similar to musical instrument grades) for students of all abilities. You can start at any grade (based on an internal ability assessment) and then work your way up. Once at Grade 6 and above you can earn UCAS points for university.
The details as follows:
- Course offered – Acting Solo or Combined (click here for further details on the course)
- Lessons – ½ lessons (in pairs) on Saturday mornings scheduled between 9.30am – 12.30pm
- Cost – £12.00 per lesson per pupil
There will be a requirement to commit to lessons for the term with a 5 week notice period to cancel.
Occasionally some pupil’s lessons may clash with a sports fixture. Should this be the case, there will be the opportunity for pupils to rearrange their lesson time via negotiation with the LAMDA teacher.
If you are interested in your son or daughter taking LAMDA classes then please register interest (email firstname.lastname@example.org) by the start of September.
