Letters from Heads of Section: Parents and guardians of Year 7 and 8 students will have received this letter from Adrian Stewart, Head of Lower School, on Monday 20th April. Parents and guardians of Year 9 students will have received this letter from Mark Simmons, Head of Year and Senior Master, on Tuesday 21st April. Parents of Lower Sixth Form students may wish to be aware that a letter from Helen Taylor, Head of Sixth Form, was sent directly to your son/daughter at the start of the Summer Term.

RSVP Thursday 28th April - Online Parent Workshop: Parent Practitioner, Olga Zilberberg, is now offering her workshops online to the Leighton Park community through Zoom. On Tuesday 28th April from 8.00-9.00pm, she will be sharing useful tips to help you manage learning at home. If you would like to join this workshop, please complete the online form. This is imperative to ensure we are aware of numbers joining and do not exceed maximum capacity of 100 participants. Mental Wellbeing and Resilience Programme: Zumos are offering a comprehensive mental wellbeing and resilience course, to support families during the coming months. If you should have any queries, please contact Nicky Hardy, Deputy Head (Pastoral).
Get Fit: GB Olympic athlete and Judo Coach, Danny Williams, is providing a fundamental course in Judo and Free Grappling for students, staff and their families, every Monday afternoon from 5.30-6.00pm totally free! Face Shields Initiative: We have now delivered more than 15,000 face shields to NHS and keyworkers in the healthcare sector with a further 3,000 currently in production. We have received over £25,000 in donations on our GoFundMe page, thanks to your generosity, and brought one new mascot on board this week. Our Flickr gallery shows pictures from the DT workshop, our production partners and the delighted recipients we have helped. If you require this vital PPE or are aware of people in need of face shields, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your continued support.
LP Donate: To support those in need during the coronavirus pandemic, we are collecting donations for our partner organisations. The items urgently needed by 9.00pm on Monday 27th April are food items and wash bags for NHS scrubs. eCollect: Join the eCollect Google Classroom (classroom code: dxr4m3n) to tune into weekly Meeting for Worship from home. Every Thursday at 10.30am you can take time out of your day for a moment of calm. In today’s first eCollect of the term, the theme will be Peace.
