Guided Distance Learning Programme

Overview: For those who would like a reminder of the overview of the Guided Distance Learning Programme originally shared on Friday 20th March, the information can be accessed on our website or downloaded as a PDF.
Google Meet: If your son/daughter is in Year 11 or Sixth Form they may be offered an online lesson via Google Meet. Some of our music lessons for individual instruments are being offered in the same way. If you are keen to know how this works for LP@Home we have instructions available.
Public Exam Years Update
Parents/Guardians of students in Year 11 and the Sixth Form have been emailed information relating to the grades for examinations due to have been taken this Summer and the Guided Distance Learning Programme.

We would like to remind families that our policies are available on the website. Given the move to the Guided Distance Learning Programme, we would particularly like to draw your attention to the Online Safety Policy, IT Acceptable Use Policy and Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
Booklet: A booklet offering suggestions and advice on how best to support your son/daughter during this period of disruption was shared with you via email on Tuesday. As well as useful guidance, the booklet contains contact details for help both within Leighton Park and from external organisations.
Videos: Berkshire West Safeguarding Children Partnership have developed some videos for parents and for students aimed at supporting mental health and wellbeing of students during periods of disruption.
Summer Term Fees
A letter regarding fees for the Summer Term was emailed to all parents/guardians on Tuesday.
Grades and Reports
Reports for Year 11 and Upper Sixth and Grade Sheets for Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and Lower Sixth will be available via the Parent Portal by lunchtime on Friday 27th March 2020. If parents/guardians have any issues accessing the Portal please email Elaine Storey, Data Manager.
LP@Home for Students
Your son/daughter will have now received our LP@Home communication for Thursday 26th March. You may like to talk to them about the opportunities available to keep them constructively occupied through LP@Home so we have shared the details with you below:
